Taken One-way ticket for MEL SkyBus

I have a one-way ticket for the Melbourne SkyBus that's expiring on 1 July. I can post it from Sydney but it also has a QR code so I would like I could just send the recipient a photo of it and that would be enough.

They didn't scan the ticket when I arrived in MEL so I used it again the next day on my way back to the airport...
