How to manage multiple frequent flyer numbers on an award booking?

Hello,

I have made a QFF economy award booking from SYD-WLG under my QF LTG account. I have put in a request for an upgrade. I also have QR OWE status and wish to use this to gain access to the QF F lounge in Sydney.

If I keep my QF# on the booking will I have access to the F lounge? If I call QF to put in my QR FF# (I can't seem to change my FF# on an award booking with Qantas online) will this impact my upgrade chances? Should I ask for my FF# to be changed to QR as I check in?

Looking for the best way to manage my QFF upgrade request and QF F lounge access via QR status.

It can be done, however I have little faith in call centre agents managing this for you.

I would simply leave everything as is and use your QR card to enter the lounge. They may say they need to add it to the reservation which they can do for you.

I would second leaving QF number in as it needs to be there for upgrade chance
QR card will be sufficient to enter lounge

Thanks. I asked as on recent travels with AA I was refused entry to a BA lounge as I did not have my status on my boarding pass and told the card was not sufficient (I was crediting to AS where I have no status)

As a QF ff member you can book an award for some one else. That "some one else" may have QR status and look like you.
As a QF ff member you can upgrade a family member. That "family member" may have QR status and look like you.

Can you upgrade an QFF economy award booking? Or rebook as business award?
