Hey guys, I booked Brisbane to London via Dubai in Economy (something I'm kinda regretting haha) as a QF coded flight.

Logging into Emirates I've been able to "upgrade" the Dubai to London legs to their new PE offering, however Brisbane to Dubai does not offer this service.

It also says "Since your booking was not purchased directly with Emirates, and the fares you were issued are not changeable or upgradeable, you cannot request this service online"

Is there any other way I can upgrade to business? It says I can't request it online, but would calling or enquiring at the airport have any luck? I'm willing to pay for this and not trying to 'score a freebie'

I've tried googling but not much luck...

Thanks guys :)

So, your ideal itinerary would be BNE DXB in J then DXB LHR in PE?
Ideally J all the way, but if I could move BNE to DXB to J at least that would be far better than what i've signed myself up for next week.

If you want J all the way I’d just go back to who ever you booked it with and get a quote for the fare difference and proceed from there.

The BNE to DXB leg might be problematic even if your date type allows upgrades. J seats look sold out for many days over the next month with demand seemingly now exceeding capacity

This is what i've found sadly! Was not expecting these flights to be so full. Glad to see it's recovering well though, Emirates will be happy.

My flights to LA in March with Qantas were crazy low. Getting those business upgrades each way was a walk in the park.
