Platinum Newsletter

Been a while since I got one of these. Have gone into the draw for a bar cart, and both ms sudoer and I will be filling up with 50L of premium unleaded at a BP this week for the 10SC :)

Thought it was odd that the bar cart competition T&C are only open to WPs over 21 years old though...
Possibly some state rule about alcohol being in a price that they had to raise it up? Who knows

Actually, the exclusion is E & O fares, not the whole red-e-deal family

So the classic book and pray you didn't get one of them, given you can't actually see what you're booked in. I hate it when they limit on fare class and then don't let you see what you are booking

Deleted mine. 😞
After you entered the comp? It was just a single click to enter. Not one of those tedious “Tell us in 25 words or less why…” ones..

Saw this this morning. Entered the comp, but other than the coat-hanging nothing else is really relevant to me.

Best deal I've found to utilise this promo code is the Heirloom Shiraz case which, after Points Club Plus 10% discount, is $324 for 21k points. Comes to 1.54c per point with a free case.

Looks like you can get a case of the exact same wine delivered for $288 here: Heirloom McLaren Vale Shiraz 2019

So you're buying 21K points for $36, which is $0.0017 per point — about the same as a standard credit card sign up.

It was 6 of the McLaren Vale and 6 of the Barossa, which I think is worth a little more?

In any case the mixed dozen is now sold out!
