Wondering if Syd to LHR business class return for 14-28th sept is likely to be much less than $12000 return ? Knowing it is school holidays etc
Have just found a JAL one which comes home via CDG for just over $8000

Looks like the reward seat booked has now all fallen in a heap and I would like husband still to go on his trip.
However due to mobility issues business is the minimum. Again due to mobility having to lug around his stuff isn't a great idea so having multiple changes isn't optimum.
Just wondering if the AFF great minds may have alternatives. Both end and beginning dates can be extended. End date can come in to 27th sept

They seem pretty reasonable year round. It’s SQ to SIN.
Otherwise definitely worth pricing an AY fare through a TA.

We are on QF departing 8/8 and returning 16/8. I played around with booking for direct SYD-LHR-SYD, and indirect (eg LHR-SIN-BNE-SYD for return), and managed to get it for $9K. Still very expensive compared to my days of multi-city bookings with AY and CX, but what can you do? Couldn't find anything cheaper on QR, EK or SQ.

Definitely! This period of big swaps and changes and cancellations, if no other. Any changes, cancellations, generally stuffing around id their problem to solve, although the problem is a reward booking, I know. But any seat is subject to cancellation - def get a good (not Flight Centre) type of TA - per Princess Fiona.
