I have a QF gift voucher which was generated following a flight change which resulted in a residual amount. This gift voucher is in Australian dollars. I have been advised by QF that to use it I will need to call QF as it is different to a flight credit.

Does anyone know if it will be possible to use the voucher for QF flights which orginate in the EU and are therefore sold in EUR? Would it be as simple as QF converting the flight cost to AUD at their internal (and no doubt punitive) exchange rate or is that too much to hope?

Many thanks in advance.
