the 727 Fuselage Home is a refurbished 1965 Boeing 727 airframe which has been converted into a two-bedroom suite by Hotel Costa Verde, located near Costa Rica, US .

The hotel is nestled on the edge of Costa Verde's national park and is perched on a 15-metre pedestal, giving guests spectacular ocean views.

I thought i waa going to be a copy of the 747 hotel, but that is completely different :) interesting.
 
I have to say, that's way too much wood. Sure on the outside it's way too much aluminium, but the inside, wow.
 
Now that is just way cool.

Looks like a visit to Costa Verde is added to the 'must see and do' list.

When I saw the title, I almost thought about another old aircraft which was parked somewhere in Scandinavia and was also turned into some form of lodging. I don't think the intentions were to make the rooms as glamorous as the one referred to by the OP, however.
