Last Friday about 8:30am AWST I booked a couple flights (QF1) and opted to pay with Bpay for no fees. Oh what a big mistake that was.
I triple checked that the reference number and biller code was correct, then sent through the payment through commbank, got a email not long after from the bank saying your payment to Qantas has been processed. Cool, thought it must have gone through without issues then right. On the booking it says allow up to 2 business days to reach them.
I have checked every day the flight booking, still says AMOUNT DUE $****, Payment must be made by midnight Friday 22 October 2021. It's now been 4 business days this week + last friday since I booked in the morning. I can't touch anything on the flight until payment has been received by their end.
Has anyone had this kind of problem before with bpay and how long is it before they cancel the booking due to not receiving the funds even though i've sent?
This is my first time dealing with qantas and I very much regret choosing the feeless option, it's just created a big headache.
