Is DSC x 2 possible? (i.e. using DSC TravelPass on a DSC booking)

Hi everyone,

As many of you on this forum, when Qantas flight(s) were cancelled I opted to receive a Qantas UATP TravelPass that has Double Status Credits tied to it. I am about to start making some bookings <fingers crossed> and I am aiming to use the TP as astutely as possible re SCs.

My question is:
*If* Qantas have a 3-day DSC Promo in the future, and I book an eligible flight (that has, for example, 20 SCs as standard) and I pay with my DSC Travel Pass... how many Status Credits would I earn overall from that flight? 40? 60? 80?

How does Qantas calculate this?

(Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere in AFF, but I did a search and could not find any answer specifically re the DSC TravelPasses - hence asking the AFF forum!)

Thanks so much! 🙏

Usually only one would apply. And if by some magic both came through, it would be off the base both times.

No, only one will apply. From the T&C's on the TravelPass (the same or similar text also forms part of the regular DSC T&C's as well):

If passengers qualify for multiple bonus Status Credits offers for the same flight, the highest value bonus Status Credits offer will be applied to each individual qualifying segment. For example, if you qualify and register for a 50% more Status Credits offer and a double Status Credits offer on the same flight, you will receive the double Status Credits offer as it will result in the highest total number of bonus Status Credits. Only one Status Credits offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary.
