The view from my "office"

After a few days of lovely weather the rain and storms clouds were back again today. This is the Boat Ramp at Port Kennedy, just south of Rockingham, on Warnbro Sound. The Pine Trees in the distance are at Safety Bay. Nobody seemed keen to be using it for their boat today but there was a keen fisherman there.

The pink and grey coughies were having a nice feed on some nearby grass.

They often use our canal for practice. Was not unexpected as about 20 surf ski riders went up and down first and the surf boat often follows. But they do have a good motto.

how many Skyline chilli meals did you have in OH :p

Somewhat spoiled today with car park views and and an excellent view of the rear of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change premises. After twenty nights at the CVG HI I find myself at the Canton, OH, Belden Village HI. (I won't be heading over to the Red Lobster for dinner! :p )

Well.......and this is typically a shock to the locals, I am a GoldSstar man, but if I had to really choose it would be Dixie Chilli. o_O (I was a resident of Northern Kentucky for a few years back in the 1990's. The Gold Star take out was a lot nearer to my apartment than either Skyline or Dixie. )

Obviously I am not contrarian :p but it is rather fun to upset the peeps from Ohio by not choosing Skyline :). If I am totally honest I am not a massive fan of Cincinnati Chilli which bears no relation to Chilli at all.
