Hi Flying on QF A330-200 with the 28 J seat and 243 Y config are seats 23 J and K good seats or too close to the bulkhead and limited leg space for a flight MEL-CNS.

Many thanks

My friend who is over 6 feet tall was thankful for what he described to be excellent advice I gave him to change his seat selection from row 23 to row 24 on his recent BNE-AKL flight...

FWIW I am P1 not real tall and choose R24 (A/B or J/K) over R23 when I travel solo or with one other. I also hope that when I am to travel in R24 SST/ VIP come to my rescue and put me in the better part of the aircraft however this is never guaranteed.

Personally, I like row 23 (window), as no one can push their seatback into your face, and I find it to be a little more private in the corner there.

Helps that I'm not particularly tall though...

Depends on your personal preference, do you need to stretch your legs on a flight of that length? Do you prefer not having people recline into you? Do you like having a bag under the seat in front of you for easy access? Do you care if the armrest is fixed? That will help answer if a bulkhead row is a good choice for you :)

We tend to go 2A and 3A.
Indeed ... but sometimes you just gotta do what ya gotta do ...

FWIW, in the last fortnight I have had four cancelled flights where I had allocated 1A, 2A, 2A and 2K. :(

If seating is in double digits, I'll endeavour to go row 23 window for flights under 2 hours.

I feel your pain, serfty.
Have two 1A bookings about to be cancelled, and four following on, looking very shaky.

I think it all comes down to whether you like to be able to stretch your legs straight or not. For me, I'll take bulkhead for a day time flight (I'm only 5'10) but if overnight and I want to sleep, my legs need to be straight.

Row 0 is good.

While I hear the view is great, the wine service is lacking.
