Qantas app trips not syncing

Here I was about to blame the corporate travel agent...should've known it's an issue on QFs end.

Made it nice and complicated when the error coincided with a same day flight cancellation so couldn't see the new itinerary which booked me MEL-SYDxxCBR on a cancelled MEL-SYD 😂

I am now having this problem on my iPhone 12 and iPad. All trips showing on the website OK but nothing on the app. Has anyone else found a solution for this?
 
I have a trip booked by AirNZ, that included a QF sector (TSV-BNE) under an NZ codeshare.
Under MMB using web browser, I can pull up this journey through the QF PNR but I can't see how I can add my QF ff# without displacing my NZ ff#.

The app seems to provide a direct way to do add this QF PNR, which looks promising.

Question. Is there any experience of adding a booking on the app (from a non QF/OW PNR) that somehow results in updating the ff# in the booking and displacing the NZ ff#? That'd be undesirable. Mainly after lounge (SG) access and seat allocation as at present I am offered only aisle/window preferences.

This has been a problem for me for months as an Android user. Clearing the app cache, clearing all stored app data and logging into the app again from scratch, and/or uninstalling and then reinstalling the app completely does not resolve the issue.

Bookings will appear as they should, then disappear a few minutes later, then reappear again some time later, all apparently at random.

Have checked in for flights on the way to the airport, only to have the booking and boarding pass disappear from the app by the time I get to the lounge. I have asked the lounge staff for a paper boarding pass (which they can easily print by scanning in my FF number from the app), but by the time I get to the gate the booking has reappeared again. It's baffling and low-key frustrating.

I've had similar problems too. I found that by going into the App Settings and doing a 'Force Stop' on the Qantas App, and then reopening it usually fixed the issue with the details in the App not being correct.
 
Perhaps its a good thing that the trips list sometimes doesn't sync as the QF app nearly gave me a heart attack just an hour ago.

Last night I was messing around looking at prices last minute from Brisbane to LA. Given my details were all pre filled due to me being logged in I clicked through on one of them to the payment stage to check the payment fees (getting a true total price). Obviously with QF bookings when you take them through to the payment stage it creates a booking reference and this will normally show in the app/online.

Normally these disappear within a few hours (or sometimes at midnight) however the search that I made last night hasn't done so yet and so my booking for tonight LA flight is still sitting in the app. It was about an hour ago now that the app poped up and said "check in now open" followed by a boarding message for the first domestic connection. Amusingly the seat I randomly picked last night is still taken by my booking that has no ticket attached.
 
I've noticed the Qantas App on my iphone hasn't had the correct info on some upcoming flights and hotels for a few weeks now.
Has anyone figure out how to make it sync correctly?
 
Can anyone able to login from the app? It's keep telling me "check your Internet connection" as soon as i click the Login. My internet connection is perfectly fine. I can login from web page but not via app.
 
I just checked and I could login to my account from the app.
Its a bit of a flakey app that so not surprised you're having issues.
 
Is anyone still having this issue? My app isn’t syncing and hasn’t for the past month. Called qantas and they were absolutely no help whatsoever. Any tricks to get the app to sync?

My partner has the same issue, we've had to manually add all her trips by PNR. The app has no issue showing her membership card, points and SC balance.

Tried logging out/in to the app, clearing all app data, etc. She's got the latest version of Android on a Pixel and the latest QFF app. I'm on the same versions and have no issue. Standard QF...
 
Can confirm that I faced this issue this week on iOS. All I did was kill and open the app again. Trips started to show
 
Had this problem in May, seemed to be fixed by an app version update. Then it updated again a couple of weeks ago and it's back not syncing any trips. Can only see them if added by PNR. Android here. Useless given Qantas' big push to use its app instead of talking to staff or airport check-in.

Couldn’t agree more, it’s pretty pathetic considering the push to use the app for all things qantas. I’m on IOS with the latest version of apple and QF app. Hopefully there’s a bug fix in the next update
 
Has been a problem for a long time, just look at the reviews in the App stores, they keep saying they are working on a fix, but how long is a piece of string Not good enough Qantas.
