Just got this from my VM broker FYI
This family-run winery has handcrafted wine in many of Australia's premium wine regions since the late 1800s. Four generations of winemaking mastery later, they are now one of the most awarded wineries in the world and have been crowned 'International Winemaker of the Year' a record amount of times.
This wine represents their pinnacle of wine making in South Australia and is, what they refer to as, their answer to Penfolds Grange.
The stunning presentation of these bottles is also worth noting. The glass is thick, the bottle is incredibly heavy and the wine is sealed under wax-dipped cork. No expenses spared, inside or out.
Stocks are extremely limited (especially the 2010), so let me know ASAP to ensure you don't miss out!
1. Black Market Cabernet Shiraz Blend 2010
Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Shiraz 40%
97 Points, James Halliday, Wine Companion
9/10 Vintage Rating - James Halliday, Wine Companion
The nose on the 2010 is incredibly complex from the outset with intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, fresh tobacco and seasoned leather. Impressive fruit concentration and drive on the palate while maintaining a sense of elegance and finesse. Time has treated this wine incredibly well, and it's luxurious, velvety tannins are a testament.
Halliday also quotes the 'Drink By' date as 2040 - that's nearly another 20 years of healthy cellaring!

2. Black Market Cabernet Shiraz Blend 2013
Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Shiraz 45%
95 Points - James Halliday, Wine Companion
94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
Campbell Mattinson called the 2013 "heroic", a word that I think sums up this wine perfectly.
Bigger and more powerful than the 2010, the 2013 is an absolute beast. Rich with ripe blackberry and blood plum with undeniable layers of dark chocolate, espresso, toast and asphalt. Big, pounding tannins do well to contain the magnitude of the wine in this bottle, and the incredible weight of the glass itself is a hint at what you'll find inside.
Still flaunting its grunty youthful masculinity, this wine will happily cellar for decades to come.
