I wish QF would add BME-CCK or LEA-CCK or PER-CCK to their routes. I really want to go the CCK but only Virgin fly there and its so so expensive and now that Virgin dont give meals in economy (and there is no business class on the PER-CCK route) it would be roughing it.

Well I've just booked to fly to GFF with Qantas next month (using points). I wouldn't have even considered it if Rex was the only option. Looking forward to visiting Griffith again.

A question, would you have considered paying cash for it on QF (cheapest one way fare I notice on QF is $189, ZL $185 for next 4 weeks then $129 after that)? Or alternatively if (making an assumption) Rex had a FF program, and you had points to spare, would you be happy to spend points on Rex? It seems to me if Rex want to compete with QF and VA, they need to get a FF program up and running ASAP!

Honestly, if I couldn't have used my Qantas points, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the trip (which is for leisure and non-essential). I don't think I would have paid $189 to fly Qantas, nor $185 to fly Rex.

The winner here is arguably Griffith, as I'll be going and spending money in the town that I wouldn't have otherwise.

To your point though, would I consider using Rex points (if they existed) to fly there with Rex? Yes.

Si! This reminds me of the taco ad...

I was going to write "¿Por qué no los dos?" but was worried you wouldn't get the reference 🤣

Does anyone know what happened to the MEL-ABX route? And MEL-WGA, for that matter? I was having a look for flights next week and there don't seem to be any.

Did DL put these routes on pause? ;)

Burnie has opened up which is a great addition for our business. Not sure about the others you mention Matt.

Took me a bit to work out what you were referring to. Delta? 😆

I'm not sure what that would have to do with it. The border is open now between NSW & VIC.

(Can we please not start referring to the coronavirus variant as an airline code - that's way too confusing 😂)
