Qantas is offering $198 return flights from five capital cities (SYD/MEL/CBR/BNE/PER) to Adelaide from today.

Melbourne-Mt Gambier is also on sale for $198 return.

SYD/MEL/BNE to regional SA destinations including Kangaroo Island, Whyalla, Port Lincoln or Mt Gambier (via Adelaide) is $338 return.

Sale ends 18 March, travel dates from 19 April-26 June and 11 July-17 September 2021.

VA has $67 one way Between ADL & MEL until midnight tomorrow. ($134 return)

Yep, that's also a good price. (Rex is $69 oneway on ADL-MEL.)

For folks in CBR, BNE or PER though the $198 return Qantas flights are significantly cheaper than usual!

Thanks for the heads up on QFLink MGB sale - we fly a lot of people in and out of there so will lock some away!

Are these fares live? I'm still seeing ~$300 return SYD-ADL.

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like you need to use the search through OPs link. Doesn't look like the sale fares appear through the regular flight search.

Whoop! Whoop!

I want to see some really good priced flights from Perth to Adelaide and Adelaide to Alice Springs!

I have seen the "fans only" flights....just waiting for Happy Hour with Virgin and see one's are the best!

The usual QF BS of cheap flights only if you are prepared to take connections. Why would one bother turning a 2 hour journey CBR to ADL into a 4.5 hour minimum trip with a connection?

You don't have to book a connecting flight, just need to find a CBR-ADL direct flight with availability in the relevant sale fare class.

That said, CBR-MEL-ADL-MEL-CBR for $220 looks like a decent status run to me ;)

Moved from other thread:

I'm happy. Doesn't start until after our trip already booked for April, but means I can go to Burra for a classic rally in May for $220 return and 40 sc's. Don't mind via Melbourne each way for the extra sc's.

Hmm maybe status chasing might rev up the excitement level. I've never had status with any airline and have to admit I know nothing about achieving it on QF. It might relieve the boredom of being limited to Oz travel only.

Well I must admit that I'm tempted. Now I need an excuse to visit ADL again - anyone interested in an AFF meet-up or perhaps a winery tour? :P

Not valid for flight search using vouchers then...

Not what I want to hear :( I have some GV I need to burn. Might call and see if its possible to use them for these fares.

Sure thing

Unfortunately the only fare to/from PER is CBR in today's Happy Hour...
