I am considering qf flts sydney-lhr dep. mid Oct. (transiting through Sin.) and returning mid Nov '09.

I am considering booking pe. My ?'s are:

I understand cabin is economy syd-sin and return. Would this part of fare be super saver. Wondering what sc I would get?

I want to put in for upgrade to buiness sin-lhr from pe class. How would I go about this? I won't have enough points to upgrade all the way going over and on the return leg. This is why I thought just to upgrade Sin-LHR and return, if it is possible.

Thanks once again for advice.
cheers

When you hit the upgrade button, in the next screen (take about 25 seconds) simply upgrade the sectors that you want.

SCs - this is whatever is listed in the Status Credit Table for Discount Y and Premium Y, depending on your sector.

Good luck with the upgrades!

Not quite, it's international so:
  • Upgrades can be request into 90 days before the flight, and
  • Upgrade won't be confirmed/declined until the day of the flight

Not necessarily it would all depend on which flights you selected.

QF31 SYD-SIN is 4 class configuration with premium economy.
QF5 SYD-SIN (the aircraft that goes on to FRA) is a 2 class configuration.

So avoid QF5 to SIN and you should get SCs and QFF points for premium economy.
