Is it just me, or does the Qantas website regularly fail to load in the Safari web browser?

It's been happening to me for months, and only in Safari - works fine in Google Chrome, etc.

I haven't used it much in Safari over the last few months but when I did I didn't have any issues

No probs with QF web site on Safari for me (other than the site's intrinsic problems ...) ... or AFF.

Glad you raised this Matt. It's not just you.

I've had this issue for well over 6 months now: Qantas digital lounge invitations and access issues

I have to clear my browser cache and cookies to get the site to work again, but it will stop working shortly after. The browser will just sit there trying to load the page but it never finishes. I've been able to reproduce on my parents Mac as well, on a different connection. Chrome works fine, but I'd prefer if it just worked in Safari.

I also can't access Qantas site via Safari. I use Chrome and have done so for months. The other site I have problems with in Safari is Dan Murphy.

Qantas.com on Safari is useless on my iPad. The website almost never loads. Google is no problem.

Also had this problem with Qantas on Safari where it will only work after clearing the cache and then only for a limited time. Also a problem on a number of other websites (Herald Sun, the Advertiser for example). Seriously thinking of ditching Safari entirely as its becoming useless half the time.

Interesting that (some) others are having a similar problem.

To clarify, it works most of the time after clearing the cache etc. but then the pages just stop loading after a while. Doesn't happen on other browsers.

Wonder if there is any other commonalities for those experiencing problems. Which providers are you with? Both myself and my parents who experience this issue are with ABB.

I'm not with Aussie Broadband. In any case, I've noticed this problem when connecting from many different internet providers and in different countries. I don't think it's that.
