Where will you go first when the bans are lifted?

August to India on business. Though I'm seriously concerned that India has not got it together at all and that by then the place will be a hotbed for COVID and to be avoided.

Still holding Amalfi trip for July. We'll see how that goes haha. Next year Mexico. Hopefully have enough points by then, even if I lose my current holding.

I’ll look forward to a good coast to coast A330 The Business Return.

also optimistic about a 777 Virgin J return with the amazing bar to LAX in August - too soon?

We have a trip to Tassie booked for 16th June with VA (2 days after their current suspension of BNE-HBA flights expires) that we hope to still take, if the 14 day self-isolation requirement is not still in force. Then a Canada/Alaska/Hawaii trip commencing 20th August. Lots of things to line up for that to be viable, but not cancelling yet......

Best just to wait for the airlines to cancel.

That's the plan - but a couple of cruises are in the longer trip as well, so hopefully (assuming the trip becomes impractical for any number of reasons) all suppliers will cancel before substantial money is laid out. Worst case is some elements of the trip cancel, but others don't and I cop a penalty (fortunately not too many $$ have been spent yet).

One might argue cruising will be safer than ever with all the precautions that will come into play after this......

Norovirus has ruined many a cruise for many years. The cruise companies haven't been able to cope with that disease, it's no wonder they're totally lost when it comes to dealing with COVID-19.

I think I will have a rejuvenated appreciation of being able to visit far-flung family in USA and UK.

Perhaps also somehow taking in my other favourite destinations of Switzerland and French Polynesia 🇵🇫 🇨🇭

I am hoping for a redemption booking MEL to MAN - CFS to see some family would be nice as well :)

I doubt there will be any major travel on the agenda for 2020 in our household. July trip to Borneo is likely to be cancelled I imagine. However 2021 plan on being a busy year with multiple trips as we want to be able to support those who will struggle the most through this crisis. I think rest of 2020 will be spent researching and making a list of trips that will make our hearts sing.

Nowhere near a cruise...
Oh c'mon. You've been saying that forever. Now you just have a proper excuse. 😚 I think I might struggle getting husband on one for a while and he loves them. The 35 person yacht ones maybe. A ferry around Greek Islands? Ah, who knows. Super money probably no longer supports it anyway.

Well we certainly hope our first major trip when travel restarts is a cruise.

November a TA is a long shot.

Hopefully March 2021 SIN-Athens.

Of course they will be on Silversea with their largest ships having ~ 600 pax.Two of their ships did have a Covid case but only 1 on each despite a few days going no where.

India is not alone - the vast majority of countries have yet to get a proper handle on this problem.
