I've had a Altitude Rewards Black for many years now and i'm wanting to change to Altitude Qantas. I know its possible but i have a couple of questions.

1. Was the easiest way just going via the call centre?
2. Is a new card Issued?
3. Are my existing Altitude Reward points available to be redeemed after i transfer, or should i transfer them before i give them a call
4. When do i provide my QFF number and how long does the process normally take

Thanks All!

I would like to know why you are changing as I have just had a thought to go the other way as I am absolutely fed up with the poor customer treatment. Care factor zero!

I usually redeemed Asia Miles and the rate is only .416 points per dollar spent. Much rather .75 Qantas points

Just to let anyone else know in case they were wondering,

Gave Westpac cards a call and they directed me to the Altitude Rewards team. The rewards team were able to switch me to Qantas in a few mins after outlining some new terms and conditions and stating that i will be charged the $50 dollar qantas fee when my annual fee is charged. They asked for my QFF number and that was it.

They said that you'll have up to 60 days or so to redeem any existing Altitude reward points after the switch, and you can continue to use your existing cards as new ones aren't issued.
