Blocking posts by specific members

Question for the mods. Has it even been considered adding an option to block the posts of specific members from your feed? I really enjoy being part of this community but there’s an increasing number of posts that I’m finding offensive. The privilege of some people is astounding. I see a name and move past it but I’d really just like to remove some members from my feed altogether. Maybe I’m just an overly sensitive... boomer

Nothing wrong with opposing views but constant abuse is not necessary so best ignored by ignoring the offender.

There are certain people around here who clearly go out of their way to disagree with me. I think it would be great, for my wellbeing, if they didn't see my posts then they wouldn't have to keep battering me with their opinion. Mobbing by the 10000 + poster counts is wearing.

In this case, ignoring those members would mean you wouldn’t know if they went out of their way to reply to you or not. By not giving them the satisfaction of riling you up you would essentially ‘win’. That said, you’d also no longer see their helpful inputs in other areas.
