Hi

We are due to fly home (Adelaide) on the 13th from Amsterdam via Dubai with Emirates. The path still uses the Iran-Iraq corridor that most other airlines are avoiding due to the current conflict.

I'm currently in Germany and would like to change my flights to a route that doesn't go through the area. Emirates hasn't been very useful. Im flexible from where I leave in Europe within reason and wish to fly with Emirates so I only have to pay a service charge fee not all new flights.
Any ideas?

I’d have a good look at flightradar24. I just had a quick look and couldn’t see any emirates aircraft in Iran airspace, but there was Flydubai. When you say avoid the region, by how far? Most airlines seem to be going over Iraq.

The only Emirates route I know that would completely avoid the Middle East is their Milan toNew York Frith freedom route. But then you would have to find your way back from new york.
