Greetings All,

Found this forum over christmas and have enjoyed the topics and a good few of the podcasts so far, very informative and easy listening.

In regard to flying I am not a frequent traveller, might have one or two short domestic trips for work each year and then usually a trip back to the UK every 2 years.

Single income house and basically looking for a way to make the long hauls more comfortable for a 6'1" 120 kg guy lol.

Currently focusing on qantas although I am wondering if that has been a mistake with the additional charges on redemption's which I learned about from this forum and the improvements that velocity seem to be making. Signed up with Qantas just under a year ago and have about 180k points at this point.

Hope everyone had a good break :)

Heya,

Thanks OATEK, their premium economy does seem very reasonable compared to QF, does it still give good miles/status with QF?

Thanks

All the other OWE airlines only give you about 50% pts/SC to QFF. Finnair do comfort seats at the front of Y in the A350 that are about as good as QF PE. I just did AY in J using CX on the 1st and last legs and it gave me 480SC and 29k pts.

wow, i think PE is the most I would be able to stretch to for paying out of pocket for so not sure how far down the SC path i'll get, but we'll see!

Welcome to AFF community :)
