Well said.

I also make use of the Group Dining deals (often you can bring up to 8 people at 50% off). Others use the Room Upgrade vouchers. The monthly specials are hit and miss ..i can go a few months before I get a winner then when I do I hit it a few times. The 2 welcome drinks on arrival for a hotel stay is a nice touch though I am in a quagmire with CM at the moment as in Sydney only Sheraton on the Park seem to reliably give the vouchers; the others are obtuse with some insisting the benefit does not exist.

Hi mate, thanks for asking ..yes I did but not sure if the chap is going to do it next year.

I come up for renewal in March ..if you are still interested then I can contact you around that time.

cheers,

Peter

Did you find someone to go 1/2 with you in the club marriott card?

Mine is due end of November and I'm also unsure whether I take it up again; it will depend on my travel plans for next year. I may also be interested in sharing a membership if it suits either of you at the appropriate time.

I somehow got convinced to get this membership. I opted for everything to be done via the app though. Does anyone know how the secondary card holder can access the benefits?

news to me mate I do know they just recently got the app to work reliably about 2 months ago ...but i don’t think you can even login to it so not sure how you show proof or redeem paper certificates let alone get a 2nd person on there.
Did they issue you a login?

Yes they gave me a process to log in. Which I can, and have a process to redeem certificates etc. Just can't work out how the secondary person can access their benefits.

I'm looking to purchase a membership and wondering if there's anyone who's willing to share the cost? Approx $150 - membership will be valid until end of 2020 and will include below (if I could remember correctly), along with others usually offered...

* 50% discount X 2 times up to 8 people in Asia Pacific.
* 50% discount for 2 people X 3 vouchers to be used in Sheraton properties in Sydney/GC/Mel.
* Unlimited 25% discount on F&B for up to 15 people in Australia + Pacific.
* 1 X $75 discount voucher to be used on F&B in any participating restaurants.
* Usual accommodation benefits offered.

I HAVE ONLY LISTED DOWN THE BENEFITS THAT WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY YOURS - and hence reduction in the yearly fees too (i.e. $150 only with membership cost of $389)

PM me if interested...

Just posted this thread for anyone who is interested:
