is there anywhere I can signup directly on website? I have clicked the Club Marriott “become a member” link, but it asked me to fill in details and someone will contact me.

I exchanged emails a couple of days ago with them; they have not released the 2019-2020 subscription yet but would advise me when they do. They are hoping to keep the price at the same level as last year and the benefits are slated to be similar if not identical to last year.

I am still looking for a sharing partner so please anyone that is interested can you Direct message me..

Hi all, for those keeping an eye on this thread I have 4 vouchers to give away:

2 for Sheraton Melbourne (Little Collins Street Restaurant) and 2 for Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast (Terraces Restaurant). The certificates allow up to 2 people to dine at a 50% discount (i.e. buy 1 get 1 free). The certificates expire in March of this year 2019. Let me know if you are interested as they can be used for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

Like many others I’ve used the Star Priv PAC benefits specifically for Le Meridien Ile de Pins. Further up thread someone asked about an Indian based equivalent which got me thinking. Would that region equivalent include the Maldives? Or is already included in the Asia PAC region but deliberately excluded form participating locations for obvious reasons?

Indeed. There was some discussion in another thread about AccorPlus and how it was/is priced differently in different countries, even in our very close neighbours. I wonder if there is an analogous argument to be had for the likes of Club Marriott, etc. Would, for example, an Indonesian-based Club Marriott get similar benefits to the one based in Australia (2 for 1 dining, etc)?

I think you are on to something in that it is deliberately excluded given the reach they have ..it appears to be intentionally left out but I couldn't say 100% for sure. There are a few 'strategic' exemptions. Daver6 pointed out to me that dining at the Westin in Perth for example is not on the dining discount list. That said, generally they have done a good job to 'force' most outlets/properties to participate. The drink certificates at Sheraton on the Park are not dated which I like as it means if I am in the city I can pull out the voucher and use it (I am not tied to using it on the night of the stay).

Hi all, last chance as Club Marriott recently released the 19/20 offering (surprise it is the same as last year - at least the price did not go up which most programs that seems to be feature). Let me know if you are interested in being an additional card holder and splitting the cost and certificates.

I had the old club marriott which had the $99 room voucher and it was $299. Now at $399 and no room voucher i dont think it is worth it anymore.

I think it comes with 2 card which gives you 25% discount, but what I found is that most hotel would give elite member discount and since you can't double up on discount it is probably of no use in this case.

It comes with 2 x $75 dining credits, a number of 50% dining vouchers, and a few other vouchers.

Like most of these schemes, you can get value if you play the game to win:)

Well said.

I also make use of the Group Dining deals (often you can bring up to 8 people at 50% off). Others use the Room Upgrade vouchers. The monthly specials are hit and miss ..i can go a few months before I get a winner then when I do I hit it a few times. The 2 welcome drinks on arrival for a hotel stay is a nice touch though I am in a quagmire with CM at the moment as in Sydney only Sheraton on the Park seem to reliably give the vouchers; the others are obtuse with some insisting the benefit does not exist.
