New long term parking 'stations' at Perth

Perth Airport moves to end parking shortage : thewest.com.au

Perth Airport is hoping to put an end to its parking woes with the opening of two modern long-term parking stations that allow passengers to check-in, buy snacks and monitor flight schedules while they wait for a shuttle bus.

I'd be curious to see what these are like and if they let you check in your bags as well or if you have to wait till you get to the main terminal to do bag drop.

If they're the little shacks they have just put up, it's nothing special. A parking lot down the road from the airport with a QF quick check terminal and 2 vending machines. Don't even think they are air con, at least not yet as it was cooler outside. Room for about 4 seats just outside of the tiny shack where you wait for the bus which loops every 15min. And they're both pretty close to full already...

Don't worry, I'm sure the next stage in this great plan is extend it to street parking in Kalamunda with vouchers for the Transperth ride onto Brearley Ave.

Spot on! The waiting area in the Sydney long term parking is nothing special so I would not expect Perth to start providing something out of the ordinary....
