Thanks, took option 2. Applied for a card in Aug, and bank with ANZ so thought it might be the only place thatll accept me with such a busy file.

Approved today. Will cancel straight after
How long did it take to get the bonus?

If you still have the card, there is currently a transfer bonus to Velocity, in line with previous years.

Nov 2019: 30%
May 2019: 50%

When transferring ANZ Rewards to VA, it's 2:1, with minimum 2000 ANZ Rewards points to 1000 VA points, in 2 ANZ Rewards points increments.

75k ANZ = 37,500 VA.
With the current bonus, it's 48,750 VA.
If you went for the 100k ANZ = 50k VA, the bonus is 65k VA. (It's actually a bit more because you will have 8k ANZ from the $4k of qualifying spend).

The transfer from VA to KF is 1.55:1
So you could have 31,451 KF or 41,935 KF depending on which offer you went for.

If the May 50% bonus comes again, you could have either 56,250 or 75,000 VA which is either 36,290 or 48,387 KF.

The public offer has changed:

150k points, no cash back, $375 annual fee, spend $4k in the first 3 months.

The internet banking offer is still the same:

75k points, $100 credit, $375 annual fee, make one eligible purchase in the first 3 months.

The internet banking offer is still the same:

75k points, $100 credit, $375 annual fee, make one eligible purchase in the first 3 months.
Whilst fewer points on offer, the Internet banking offer on the Rewards Platinum ($95 annual fee) has a lower cost per point:

"65,000 bonus Reward Points and $50 back to your new ANZ Rewards Platinum when you make one eligible purchase in the first 3 months."

I've got another four months on the sidelines though.

I though travel adventure earns Rewards points?
Yes, both the ANZ Rewards and the ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures cards earn ANZ Rewards points. When I last closed an ANZ Rewards card I didn't have to use the points within the usual period, as I still had (and still have) an ANZ RTA card. I confirmed this with ANZ over the 'phone at the time, and they were very helpful. As such, I was able to wait until the next transfer bonus offer came around. :)

Had the 150k from the Rewards Black public offer credit one statement cycle after meeting the required spend.
Not bad.
