I have a two night stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne next week.

Usually there are Wilson Book-A-Bay deals around $11, but they appear to have dried up, at least for 4th and 5th December.

I have checked a few other Wilson Carparks in the area without luck.

Grand Hyatt is asking $60 for valet, Casual at the Wilson underneath appears to be the max at $86 overnight and Le Garage is $52.

Anyone have a cheaper idea?

It’s a hike From the Grand Hyatt but the casino has cheap parking

Otherwise trying to utilise early it’s parking and/or off peak rates depending on your times you need car access.

At those prices depending on where you are going Uber may also be a cheaper option.

You can get street parks overnight but would require some effort time find / move at the right timings again spending on your plans.

Thanks Docjames for your help.

I rang Wilson Parking to be told that overnight Parking was not an online option anymore.

Not sure if that was true or not.

After looking a bit further I found a Secure Parking in Bourke Street about 2 blocks from the Grand Hyatt that offers overnight parking

Southern Cross, Melbourne
Overnight Parking
Enter between noon and 9:00pm
Exit between 8:00am and noon

Quite generous times and thew cost was $40 per night, not as good as the Book A Bay deals, but not too bad.

Collins place usually has decently priced prepaid parking.

Different hotels. At the Park Hyatt (10 minute walk/short tram ride) you can 4pm-6am for $11 (not 6:30am). But that's really 3:01pm to 7am.

They have a similar deal at some of the Secure parking stations, but that’s a real hassle having to move the car before 6.00am.

Is this car park free using the 'free parking on award stays' benefit?

I have a vague feeling that they try to weasel out of it at this property?

(j) Free Parking: Globalists receive free parking at participating Hyatt hotels or resorts for nights during which the Globalist stays on a Free Night Award. Free parking benefit is valid at Hyatt hotels or resorts that offer parking, provided that parking charges at such hotel or resort can be billed to the guest room/folio. Not valid at Hyatt Residence Club resorts. If both are offered by the applicable hotel or resort, benefit is valid for either valet or self-parking. Benefit does not apply to any night for which Globalist is not staying on a Free Night Award (e.g., any paid night’s stay) or any non-stay award redemption (e.g., Dining, Spa, and More Awards).
