Off to Port Douglas for a long weekend (Thurs - Sun) tomorrow, been 4 or 5 years since my last visit so am looking for recommendations of where to go for Dinner (Thur, Fri, Sat) and Lunch (Thur)?

Breaky included at resort, have day trips booked on Fri and Sat which takes care of lunch. Plan a quick wander of the markets on Sunday assuming they still run?

Im travelling solo, so anything designed to be share plates (too big for one) is out

Well, Salsa Bar is nice and all but you are solo, so ...three words: Cane ...Toad ...Racing ! :D The Iron Bar - surely they can get one to at least resemble a steak 😂

Thanks Amaroo :)

Unfortunately Salsa fully booked out nights that Im there, it looked like a good casual menu.

Just booked 2Fish for Thursday (early) and Nautilus for Friday (later, time for a nanna nap after diving the reef) - looking forward to both :)

Doing a bit of a foodie tour during the day on Saturday (in land) so think might do something more casual or lighter for dinner that night. Actually the Zinc bar menu might work on Saturday.

Thanks all :)

Currently in Port Douglas and on Monday, 2Fish had a sign on the door advising that due to uforseen circumstances, it is closed. No date on the notice, nor any re/open date, so I suspect it won’t be re-opening. Shame.

Sadly, they seem to have closed permanently late last week.
