His Guys
Trying to upgrade the old folks to Exit row on a LHR-SIN who use the all economy lower deck. Here are the two options online R59 and 70. Any feedback on which is better?

From memory, the door isn't very obtrusive (not like the exit row doors on the 747's). However I'd opt for 70B, you won't be knocked by people in the aisle. The equivalent seat on the A350 (row 2, closest to window) is my preferred seat. Not been on these new configured A380's yet to experience that specific layout.

If they are elderly are they limber enough to meet exit row requirements?
What about their height? I am quite short and I like to have my bag under the seat in front of me as a foot-rest higher than the built-in foot-rests, and for easy access during the flight.

I’d go 59. 70C gets bumped a lot. I’ll never do it again. Someone even trod on my foot! It doesn’t make for a very restful journey. At least on 59, you’ve got the person on the aisle acting as a buffer.
