Would like some updates .... we'll be enjoying NE and surrounds in a few weeks :p
Oh yay!!!
I'm actually just starting writing up the NYC part of our trip, after Maine (which I think I posted about last week) we headed back to Boston for one last night and then headed down to the big apple for a week of busy busy busy :)

Where in NE are you headed to? Can pass on some links to fab places if you'll be in similar areas to us

Amaroo you are on the Intersyates. In New England much nicer to go on the rural highways. For example get off I 95 at Norwalk and take highway 7 all the way to Burlington VT.Much more scenic with delightful small towns.See things such as the Norman Rockwell museum and stay in Manchester,VT for good outlet shopping such as Armani 90% off.
From BOS drive out to Lee,MA where there is another outlet mall then head north on 7.When you are going should still be fall colours.

That's just for illustrative purposes, although we don't have a lot of time to wander / explore outside of three nights in the Adirondack / Saranac Lake area.
