Have you used their explorer 365 day one ?

I bought one before our trip to Europe last month, put it in my ipad, allowed mobile data and it's worked a treat. The only issue I have with it, and it's not the fault of the card, is that my ipad photos application sent my photos off to the cloud before I noticed and that was a lot of space used. I've now used 2.6gb and even used it at Canberra airport yesterday when I couldn't get wifi easily.
I just have to work out how i can get it extended in the UK, you need to be there or have access to a UK cc, I believe.

So I used it in Germany, Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Italy, Finland, Thailand and here without any issues.

And of course it's going back to Europe with me next week.

I think that might be the go (I did notice it said UK as well on that one )
Thanks for the feedback

We've used SimCorner/SimDirect a lot of times and only once had an issue but an couple of emails within 10mins fixed it.

I have bought a few Sim cards from Aidan (SimsDirect) over the last year or so...great to hit the ground running without having to look for a shop selling Sim cards. Usually by the time the plane gets to the gate on landing, I would have checked all my emails, FB, newspapers and of course AFF. Just bought one for NZ later this year. Even cheaper than the $5 per day Vodafone roaming esp if you don't need your local number OS!...and having a dual sim phone makes life even easier!

I bought one...about to use it for my next 4 trips: Vietnam/Singapore, Singapore/Germany/Poland/ Lithuania, NZ and Singapore/Denmark/Iceland....of course I could run out of the 12 GB data at some point!

I bought the Explorer Travel SIM Card | 71 Countries | Data-Only | 12GB | 365 Days in May using a 15% discount code "SAVE15" - not sure if this still works. I put this SIM in my tablet in june and had great coverage in Singapore, London and New York. I will use it again in Hong Kong in Dec. The only issue i was it wouldn't let me tether my phone to it to share the data unlike the sim i had last year ( i like to leave my aussie sim in my phone so i can receive free sms, just turn data off and don't answer any calls).

Last year I had a 3 Mobile Europe Travel SIM Card - valid for 31 days, also put in tablet but could use this one for calls and it actually allowed tethering too.

If first purchase WELCOME10 usually gives 10% off too.

Apparently tethering is only available in Europe for this particular Sim card

I have also used in the UK/Europe... you can buy a recharge voucher at a retail outlet in the UK for a recharge.

Thanks, get me outta here. Just ordered our sims for Europe, and got a nice saving. Thanks for letting us know

Offer Expired, but they said there'd be an offer closer to Christmas. I ordered anyway just in case the offer wasn't as good as this one.

One issue I've had this trip, in Germany if the carrier is "EDGE", that's what appears instead of 3G or 4G, it is slow, this has been in the west of Germany, no issues in the east and certainly no issues now in the Czech Rep.

Edge isnt carrier it means you are on cell edge i.e..have poor coverage, that happens here in Australia too.

Thanks for that information, I was really surprised as it was happening a lot in the Eifel mountains, including at the Nurburgring.
