Received a phone yesterday morning saying my Perth to Sydney flight had been subbed from an A330 to B737. As a result my J points booking would also be downgraded. I was given 4 or 5 different options to choose from ranging from staying on original flight in Y with refund of points difference. Choose earlier flight via Melbourne in J on A330.

New flight was delayed which meant I would not make connection in Melbourne, realised this at 40,000ft. On arrival into Melbourne went to service desk and was issued new boarding pass for next flight to Sydney in J.

Arrived in Sydney wondering if my bag would make it or not and was surprised to see it was the 3rd bag out.

All went very smoothly.

One of the reasons I stick with QF ... their IRROPS handling is usually pretty decent.

Regards,

BD

It's good to see some good feedback as we often hear all the negatives but not the positives.
