Hi

When trying to redeem international classic awards, you enter your destinations, key in your membership details and you get to the page showing the calendar with economy availability dates.

I then select "Business" so that it shows me the business availability as well as the economy (quite why QF don't just show all classes availability is beyond me - so irritating to have to click on "business" every time).

Once it shows the business availability dates, I then click on the "continue" button so that i can show me the actual flights available. However, several times now for particular dates it just kicks me back to the date availability for economy only (so I never get to see the actual flights available for that date).

Has anyone come across this problem?

A 'phantom availability' issue - earlier screen showing business seats that just weren't there, so when you click through it defaults back to economy.

I found nearly a whole month of those for some TransPac routes about a month ago.

Thanks all - sounds like it's been a problem for QF for a while. What's annoying is that even if you wanted to choose the economy option (assuming the business availability is 'phantom'), it's not possible because the system won't let you get to the flights screen. Sounds like the only option is a call to QF.
