Flybuys year in review 2018

I have just received mine, and it makes interesting reading.
Also top 1% in Australia, NSW and my suburb. The overwhelming majority of points earned were bonus points, not standard.

Better 2018 than previous year and was in top 2% in Australia and Queensland. Earned 114349 points throughout the year.

I don't shop much with Coles at the moment (but this will change soon enough when the computer drops the offers down a bit further), I have moved almost exclusively to WOW for the last 8 months at least. That's why I was shocked when I saw that I was top 3% in Aus, 3% in VIC and strangely enough, 4% in my suburb. I guess I am surrounded by some real flybuys high flyers. Earned 79,856 points in total.

I'm 3% in Aust and Vic, but 4% for my suburb. But might have gone to top 1% had I not split purchases with the other account.

My partner probably earned 30k points across the year and didn't receive an email. Perhaps they only email you if you're in the top 10% or something.

Vic: top 5%
Suburb: top 7%

I recall in 2017 I was top 2% in all categories.

The other card wasn't used as much, so was only around 12-14% in categories.

Bonus points earn across both were around 10x more than regular points earn.

Not bad seem coles is our secondary choice to shop (none close), earned similar on spouses card also

Stats are interesting and make me wonder a little. We use Woolies much more than Coles though this is a reflection of location and individual stores rather than of the overall program. I have to say that relatively we hardly used Coles. It implies to me that a huge number of people don't use this as rewards system.

Top 1% in everything as well. It’s been pretty easy racking up these points and a great way to top up the velocity account as well!
