It would appear there's a slight glitch where if you have someone on ignore the threads they've created do not appear on that forum.

I don't believe that should be the case as there's a sticky thread in 'Your Questions' that was started by medhead but is general to everyone yet not on the list of threads.

The only way to see the thread is to take them off ignore. Doesn't sound right.

If you've put someone on your Ignore list why do you want to see what they've written? Surely that's a contradiction in the rule?

I would imagine this is how the 'feature' is intended. This doesn't help when someone on your ignore list creates a monster thread that everyone posts in, but this is not an add-on we can tweak or send in a bug report for. It's core functionality.

To a certain extent I would agree that perhaps anything that is made a sticky overrides the ignore function for the first post, but that's probably a very complex level of code. That said, I see that you can't ignore staff members, so perhaps that is the solution, we just change the first post in sticky threads to be authored by a staff member.

Which thread do you need fixing? Feel free to start a conversation.

Thanks for the reply.

The Seating availability thread is a stickie in Your Questions.

Not necessarily. Double SCs, credit card promotions, loyalty program changes are just some of the threads that can be created. The thread can go viral but if the person is on ignore then you don't even know the thread exists.
