Am QF Gold. Got access for myself, partner and 2x kids without any issue to the Alaska Airlines lounge in October at LAX. Didn't ask to see any connecting QF ticket. (We did fly on QF to LAX but 10 days prior). Just passed over the card.

Lounge is tucked away on an upper level and fairly hard to locate. Small lounge too maybe Max 40 seats. Small amount of refreshments and snacks are free. Cash bar available and small selection of hot meals are available for purchase but fairly pricy.
Small Kids room but really nothing to write home about.

We were there for about 2 hours so was useful out of the bustle of the terminal. Also free WiFi which is handy.
