Passport Validity Question

Hi All,

Is my calculation correct? This is based on the 6 months rule passport validity to enter singapore and malaysia with an Australian passport.

Passport expires 21 August 2019.

Will depart Australia 26th December 2018, arrive Singapore 26th December 2018.
Depart Singapore to go to malaysia on 3rd Jan 2019
Depart malaysia to go to singapore 10th Jan 2019 (8 hour stopover) – may head out to the city if possible.
Depart Singapore to go back to australia 10th Jan 2019

Based on my calculation I have over 7 months validity based on return date? Is this cutting it too close?

So am I safe to travel without renewing the passport before I go on the above trip?

Great thanks for the reply. Ok I was a bit worried as, in case the customs or check in agent plays tough even though I have a bit over 6 months left.
