Silly question but, is there actually a way to check in through the Android app? It always pops up and tells me check in is open but I've never found a way to actually do it other than by going to the website.

Hmm, I've never been given that option. Maybe I'll try uninstall/reinstall.

For domestic flights check in from 24h prior is available (except QFLink possibly.. some of those are a bit weird).
For international, I believe they now allow OLCI via the app for NZ departures and a few ohers like SIN, LAX/SFO/DFW.. Some other destinations are not allowed and one has to do it at the airport for whatever reasons.

On QF mainline domestic it's always worked just fine.

To add to this, in my experience it's not been possible to OLCI via the app if the booking includes a flight on a partner airline.

There are also instances where the app will direct you to OLCI via the Qantas website "from a tablet or computer" - I think when APIS data needs to be entered.
