New Amex statement credits

Just wanted to advise anyone else who has the Red Energy offer saved and not planning on using it, try selling it on OzB classifieds. I did 5 at a time to make sure credits came in and was safer for the buyer too.
Resulted in $300 profit and pts.

Just a quick question, regarding to the new Hilton offer and the Hyatt offer,

Has anyone had experience to combine the offers with AMEX FHR and/or the Hotel Collection benefits?

1/ Can we get statement credit while enjoying the benefits when booking with FHR and the Hotel Collection?
2/ Will the hotel elite status benefits also get recognized when booking with FHR and the Hotel Collection?

I did get elite night credit plus statement credit with booking via FHR even if you paying with a different credit card , the trick is make you sure you pay for your hotel bill with cards that registered when you check out .

required Platinum Charge to hold the booking via FHR , but when we check out i used another Explorer card to pay for the bill . Reception is not fuss as long as it is an Amex cards . in my case it was Park Hyatt Bangkok i need to put extra spend on Explorer to meet the $650 spend required .

Recently they had spend $400 get $120 so cashback definitely on the decline but so far all Hilton offers were restricted to Australia and New Zealand properties IIRC. At least we have more options with the current offer.

My stay with shangrila Singapore is coming up in early october and made use of the "3rd night free" with FHR. Will let you know how I go and I'll try to split too as it comes to 1k so I'll try my card and the Mrs.

What I'm loving with the Hilton promo is that it also extends to 31/1/2019 so I can use it while I'm in Japan in January. Never had that as an option previously.

Pretty good use of Shangrila offer if you can get 2 x 175 back . "3rd night free" with FHR is that avail for all location ?

How about the Hotel Collection range? Some Hilton is part of it. Does it play well with the statement credit and the booking benefits and elite benefits? thanks

We also plan a trip to Japan and with hotel prices there I’m going to pay each night with different card!
