Thai Airways cuts flights to Australia

Routes Online is reporting that Thai Airways will reduce flights to most Australian cities from 28 October 2018. This represents a significant reduction in capacity. In the case of Sydney and Brisbane, it also means you no longer have the choice of a day or night flight coming back to Australia.

Selected service on following routes is closed for reservation:
Bangkok – Brisbane eff 28OCT18 TG477/478 closed for reservation. 4 of 7 weekly available for booking
Bangkok – Melbourne eff 28OCT18 TG461/462 closed for reservation on Day 357 (Day 146 from MEL). 11 of 14 weekly available for booking
Bangkok – Sydney eff 28OCT18 4 weekly TG471/472 closed for reservation. 7 of 11 weekly available for booking

I've got a return flight from Melbourne to Bangkok next year in April during the Easter period.
Will both flights be affected by this?

Aust Business Traveller also carrying the story. Says it is for the 6 months to March 28th 2019. No details post that date but Thai booking site shows 2 flights from Sydney in May 2019

Hopefully that's the case and they don't cancel or change my flight!
