I am trying to book some award flights on Emirates from SIN-MEL in F. When I look at availability one way, they are not showing as available. However if I book them as part of a return, MEL-SIN-MEL, then they are available. Not available under a multi city booking either. Is this a new rule or is the IT system a bit cranky at the moment? Any ideas from the brains trust?

Ive noticed similar quirks on EK to/from Singapore. When I called, they were available but not showing correctly.

Hi LadyC,

You can always call and ask for the itinerary you’re looking to book yourself. If they find availability you cannot see online there *should* be no additional cost for them to book it for you... if there is, hang up and call back.

If the availability is not there ... well, you’ve not lost anything and can choose to book what *is* available online.

Regards,

BD

Thanks both. Thought i would check with the brains trust before making a call.
