Has something happened to the forum or its delivery today, that might account for the text on the page lagging even my two-finger typing? You - know, I type this sentence, then look up and see the letters appearing one by one on the screen.

It was occurring during the day at Uni, which has 100MBps wi-fi speed both up and down, and here at home just now when I'm currently on 4G. No big downloads or uploads in the background (resource monitor).

Hope its something on the AFF end, because its not an experience I'd like to continue! :)

No problems here and I have awful internet speed. Did a gremlin virus get ya?

Can't say never ever, but I'm 99.9% sure no viruses.

I'm using MS 'Edge' - yeah, I know, I'm trying to wean myself onto Chrome, but old habits die hard! Hmm, all running quickly now. Maybe there was some background process going on, but funny it was twice during the day, 6 hrs apart and the resource meter said no significant internet traffic and no CPU demand of note.

Randomness is such a pain esp if you decide to take it to a techie to fix.

Brand new, max spec laptop! Should be able to drive the Death Star. Better not need a techie, yet :)

I've seen what you've described on another website forum but I've never experienced it on AFF.
