I am Lifetime Silver and received my annual Complimentary Lounge Invitation letter this week. I shook the envelope looking for the card that is normally in there but nothing. I then read in the letter that it is all managed online now. Here are the conditions: Lounge Access Invitation and Lounge Access | Terms and Conditions | Qantas

It appears that if you switch to an earlier flight on the day you are flying and you have linked to your complimentary invitation already, you can't change that. I guess you can just not change flights and enjoy the lounge for longer!

However interestingly also is that the expiry date for the invitation I got last year is the end of October 2017. The letter I received this week is dated 21 August 2017 and the expiry date of the invitation is 12 August 2018. Maybe they have reviewed and used the date I first became Lifetime Silver. It was some years ago and I don't know when it was.

I have a QF operated ticket from BNE to SYD and then onwards internationally on QF. I've tried to link my complimentary lounge pass, however it doesn't display the Qantas Club in BNE as lounge I can link the pass to (but does show the SYD international lounge). I'd prefer the BNE lounge as I have a relatively short connection in SYD...

Has anyone come into a similar issue before? Previously I've passed in my physical pass at BNE domestic and it was easy!

Just bumping this because I have 2 sector same ticket Charlotte to LA then la to bne. When i link, only first sector shows up and there is no QP in CHT. Any ideas

Has anyone managed to link a lounge invitation for an international QF flight departing from Perth?

I tried to link my parents flight to a lounge invitation for QF71 but it won’t allow it. I think this might be due to the International Business Lounge and Domestic Business Lounge being the same in Perth and lounge invitations can’t be used at the Domestic Business Lounge.
I am WP so can only bring in one guest as well as 2 kids so I was hoping to also bring my parents into the lounge with the passes.

I am able to link the invitations to QF72 which is for the Singapore Business Lounge so I know they work but wanted to use an extra 2 passes which I will be acquiring from a credit card offer to get them into the Perth lounge so they can join us.

But would that exclude the T4 J Lounge? That is the Lounge international pax not eligible for the T3 Lounge have access to?

I was thinking that if on an international flight it would be the international J Lounge requirements for entry which permits a lounge invitation to be used but since it is also a domestic J Lounge then it might be the domestic J lounge requirements which doesn’t permit a lounge invitation to be used.

I was able to link a lounge invitation to the Qantas Club for a domestic flight so it just looks like it is just international flights which can’t use the lounge invitation in Perth since there is no dedicated international J lounge.

I will try to clarify with someone from Qantas but haven’t had any luck getting a chat on the Qantas site yet so might have to give them a call.

Given the glitches with the website at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if it is an oversight...

Hi I also have the qantas LT Silver status and yes I got the letter of offer. I am on a multi city flight SYD-CGK-SIN-SYD in October 2018. I have tried to use the pass as per the website and trying to link it from SIN home the system refuses even though the website says you can link to another city on multicity booking. I emailed Qantas in June 2018 and the email reply says a member of the team will contact me and I was given a reference number. During an ensuing telephone call with QFF I have been told SIN is not available to me. Why I asked? I still do not know why? SYD is available but I need it in SIN. I am booked on QF 82 on 12 October 2018 ex SIN. Can someone please advise why I am unable to use this pass? Is SIN QF lounge excluded? If so what is the point of offering a complimentary pass that cant be used by me? Where is the Qantas list of those lounges are excluded?

The Singapore lounge is excluded due to overcrowding. The switch back to SIN from DXB has meant there's just too many passengers for the lounge to handle so complimentary passes can't be used. Qantas club members are also being sent to other lounges rather than the Qantas facility.

I think one of the Perth lounges is also ineligible for complimentary invitations (the lounge used for the QF9/10 transits).

thx but little comfort so why does qantas not fix the problem rather than say due to overcrowding QF 82 departs at 9.10 pm so its a scheduling problem between QF 1 /2

I went to check what passes I have today and find it annoying that there is no indication as to who issued them.

I have eligibility from 4 sources: Silver Status (*1), Amex Qantas Ultimate (*2), ANZ Qantas Black Visa (*2) and Westpac Earth Black Mastercard (*2).

I know I've had eligible spend this year on Amex and MasterCard plus should have my Silver (so 5 passes), yet I only have 4 passes with 3 different expiry dates. How is one meant to work out what is missing?

I haven't used any since they gone digital as I currently have Qantas Club, but am wanting to gift to friends who are about to travel.

At least when they were paper passes they told you who sent them (I still have 3 paper passes which expire shortly but will be used by friends next week)

The SIN lounge exclusion is clearly highlighted on the lounge pass page

You would've had to land on that page in order to begin the linking process, no?

Not obvious at all. I ran into the same issue, spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't add my SIN-PER flight... Those warnings only appear when you're logged out, so if you logged in first you'd never see the message. Also, the SIN-PER flight comes up on the list of flights to link, it then just throws a "You’re unable to redeem a Lounge Invitation on this occasion" error. Very informative message, Qantas.

I got two passes through the Westpac Black card and when they were issued I got an email that clearly said where they were from. Maybe check your spam folder?

Can I use my ANZ issued lounge passes if flying out of MEL on Qatar economy?
If not, I might have two to give away in the free to a good home thread !!
