Update: received my DSC yesterday for my flight taken on 29/4 that I had changed from 30/4 but changed outside booking promo period.

Had a dsc flight on 29/3 which i changed to an earlier time on 29/3 and dsc posted within a few days

Had a dsc flight on 30/4 which i had changed from an earlier date which dsc are yet to post although the normal status credits posted quickly.

Was this booked during the promo period or as a GV?

It was a flight booked during the promo period and not a GV. Changed to a different date outside the promo 'booking' period

I had DSCs post overnight from my 30 April trip (booked regularly). No sign of GV postings though (though that flight was only on Wednesday).

I wonder if other people has old flights post overnight too?
Just checked my account after your post and yes!! An extra 10SC here too. Trip on 30th April.

Can confirm, had a few recent instances where SCs were already posted when I stepped off the plane. Still waiting for DSCs from flights taken since end of April though.

Had 2 lots of SCs post before my actual flights 2 weeks ago. Ironically I missed one of those flights, so the actual flight number on my statement is incorrect!

Whatever Qantas has done in the last month to their systems is shiite. I had done several flights where DSC posted within a few days (standard paid tickets, not voucher stuff). Then suddenly last month that stopped. Am now waiting for last 6 flights, but nothing. Flicked an email to P1 team and was told the generic answer "that it can take up to 8 weeks". Couldn't even be bothered replying to the email.

Qantas Site is all over the shop at the moment. It just goes from bad to worse. Numbers on my statement don’t add up at all.

My only desire for the DSC is the forlorn hope they will one day have LTP or something. So have no rush. I will wait exactly 8 weeks (maybe they will clean up the mess) and then take this up again :)

Lifetime Platinum retrospectively including current SCs earned? That will be a bold move if a number of Lifetime Golds not already Platinum are handed Lifetime Platinum. They would need to increase the size of the First Lounges as they are bursting at the seams now.

A small amount of hyperbole, methinks

Me also 4 more flights booked in promotion time frame back in Feb flown over past 10 days No SC or DSC yet. Probably have to wait 6-8 weeks then provide proof, booking number and copy of boarding passes. Nice IT upgrade
Hi All, just an update. Got my SC for flights so rang again to ask about DSCs. Wow was that a mistake talk about trying to get blood out of a stone. Got the 8 weeks spiel again and tried to pull a fast one on me by asking are you sure you booked in the promo period. They posted 30mins after hanging up. Obviously some manual input is going on behind the scenes due to the IT upgrade/downgrade

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Just spent 21mins on the phone with the FF team. The operator wasn't budging, and was referencing that the T&Cs state that because the booking was changed (same PNR) that they don't qualify.

Was having none of it so I asked to speak to Supervisor. After five mins on hold she came back with the old 'we are making a one-time concession and you'll seem them over the next 6-8 weeks'.

The inconsistency is so consistent..

Ah, angst! I eagerly booked myself a return SYD-LAX (Business) during the DSC promotion period, but the recent USA Sale makes the same trip available for over $1600 cheaper. What to do!
No-brainer really: cancel original ticket and forego the DSC, buy a replacement ticket at USA sale prices and get back $1000 even after cancellation penalty.

Yep you got that right. T&Cs says 6 weeks not 6-8 "Status Credits may take up to six weeks after completion of travel to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account". Also I am sure I have read on this thread that others have still got the DSCs after a change of booking with same PNR. Also can one of the gurus with more knowledge shed some light on this.

Where does it say in the T&Cs that a changed booking, with the same PNR and still taken within the promo dates does not qualify for DSCs?

Consistently inconsistent but I think its time for another bonus for QF upper echelon. lol

Hmmmmm $1000 back sounds good you should get the refund by 2020. I doubt if you will ever see those fares prices during a DSC promo period. Would that be the meaning of price gouging like June long weekend and prices magically seem to double and triple across the board. Probably because of all the weekend penalty rates they have to pay.

Well some here would do the opposite: cancel a booking earning no DSC and rebook the same flights under DSC despite the price being higher and hope that the preferred seats are still available. It depends how much value you put on DSC.

DSC can make the difference between obtaining/retaining status or not and help with progression towards LifeTime status (if you don't already have that).
