  • Qantas.com flight search error:
We are unable to find the requested outbound on any departing flights of the airlines that we search. (# 9200)
Do any members know why this error occurs on a regular basis when one is looking at various flight options using the 'Classic Flight Awards' tool on the Qantas website?

I am finding it very frustrating to do any meaningful research into flights I am intending to take in 2019.

Thanks.

Andrew

I have seen that error when doing multi-city revenue airfare searches on something like BNE-HKG-BKK.

For classic awards I can only think there's no availability but you'd expect a different error for that one.

What is the routing you are trying?

I have tried various routings, John. Nothing specific. I want to get from MEL to Fort Lauderdale in business class and pick up a transatlantic cruise to Europe next April/May. Doing dummy bookings brings up regular error messages when I type in various routings to FLL e.g. MEL-NRT-FLL

Ok. I think I have worked it out. I have managed to get the same error as you.

As of today the latest you can book Qantas flights is 19 April 2019. Think this is 350 days. From memory AA flights are not released until 330 days out so not quite there yet for April.

I have managed to search Economy flights MEL-SYD-DFW-FLL for 25 March 2019. You need to keep trying daily until you find the dates you want.

I can search for and book Economy seats MEL-SYD-DFW-FLL on 25MAR but that's the last date before system range (currently 19APR) that's available. Can't see anything in Business.
