Maybe not all but some could be ok.

Wife's hair falling more than usual. Stress? Inadequate diet? Possibly. Doctor recommended vitamins. Currently on Swisse Hair, Skin, Nails and appears to be helping.

Could also be coincidence but think they are worth continuing.
If a person is deficient in a particular nutrient then I think supplements are indicated. Seems that your either your wife's diet is lacking in something or her metabolism is doing something odd.

Here’s a scary thought for you. The woman who caused the accident (hitting me head on) at a combined speed of around 130ks an hour, wasn’t even tested for drugs or alcohol. She has since disconnected her phone and disappeared, possibly back to her home country, so no charges laid.

Considering I had to blow in the bag 5 times, whilst in traction, agonising pain, cracked ribs, broken leg, missing skin and internal injuries all to get a reading (of zero), I’m pretty disappoInted with the police. You would think that of the 10 vehicles (ambulance, fire engines & police), one person might have thought to check the woman who caused all the damage. Beggars belief.
I can understand why you are pi55ed off. It should have been an automatic thing to test both drivers involved.

I once had 5 emergency vehicles turn up to an accident I was involved in when I was smacked from behind by a flat top.

My car - Landcruiser was undamaged apart from a few scratches but he ran his radiator into my weight distributing tow hitch (aka a larger tow ball setup). I drove off after exchanging details...

I said to son, a true friend would have tried to stop him from getting into car (assuming story about DUI is correct).

(He ran a red light then lost control.)
One thing that put a halt to MasterP was when a new person at his work was picked up for being over the limit. He lost his job next work day as he was new, and needed to drive. In Adelaide recently a 17 year old crashed at high speed on his motor bike and died when he struck a pole. His 17 year old mates all said they were now selling their bikes. It does indeed strike a chord.

Our son plays soccer but last weekend’s match called off because one of the opposing team member died in car crash:
P-plater teen dies in horror crash

Hopefully it will also give son who is also a P plater some sobering insight into driving responsibly.
That's very sad QS. Sometimes it can take such a small silly decision to end in tragedy. I had a cousin who thought it would be fun to climb onto the car roof while his friend was driving at speed. He fell and was killed, tragedy for his family and also for his friend who never got over it. Young people often don't recognise the possible consequences.

But these days parents turn a blind eye to underage drinking. I’ve had MissQS go to parties held by the parents who are fully aware of underage drinking at their place.

Don’t know what the legal ramifications are if one P plater died or maimed after one of these parties run by a “responsible” adult

To wrap around MrD?
Hahaha. He's already better because he's started joking. We don't have to check out till noon so told him to relax. Im ok if he doesn't want to do anything today, yesterday was 7hrs walking around the city and want him to feel well for the long haul.

We're both skipped breakfast in the meantime.

17 years ago Dr FM went to a party (15 years old at the time) - held on a property. Mr FM went in, spoke to the parents who assured him they would ensure there would be no drinking.

Dr FM told us afterwards the parents stayed inside socialising with friends, while not only drinking but drugs were available outside. Fortunately she was a goody two shoes at that time and not only didn’t partake but told us all about it....

When Ms FM had a very big 16th I watched everyone like a hawk. Had an interesting chat with two of her friends who said they drank, but when it was spelled out that alcohol wasn’t allowed (I had it on the invites), they were happy to comply.

We must have had a reputation for being very prissy, as we had an afters party at our house after a year 10 formal. One of the lads told us his parents didn’t want him to come, but once they heard it was at our house they said he could. :)

Pool parties were the rage when the kids were in Primary School. Until one party where the parent went inside to answer the phone. A child died. The family were well known and really nice but they just couldn’t deal with the guilt and they moved away. Sad story for all.

So incredibly sad but it can happen so quickly and quietly.

I thought South Africa but hubby mentioned Iceland. If Iceland, May or June?

Vitamin supplements. If you would believe them then we should be taking around a hundred different ones a day.
i have always been quite scathing of vitamins - believed in balanced diets and natural sources (and still do). Unfortunately getting a lot of symptoms which point to B12 deficiency and my reading was borderline when my doctor did a test, so tried a B12 supplement. Much as I hate taking it, it is actually working and symptoms such as burning in the soles of my feet, focussing problems and aching teeth have almost disappeared.
