Rather funny. In the long security queues in Adelaide today one woman would get to the scan gate then stop as she was underneath. Red light. Try again and ‘just keep walking’ said security. Same thing happened. Queues getting agitated. Unclaimed luggage banking up. Four times she did this until finally she kept walking.

My wife's new knee set off the alarms each time she went through yesterday, guess it's something that we'll have to get used to!

I ordered 2 x UK phone/data/text sim cards for our trip (we take 2 phones each plus many devices) and they sent me 4.

Would you email them and tell them of the error and offer to send them back or keep/give them away?

They are $40 each (12gb plus 3000 mins plus 3000 texts)

I would email them and ask what to do with them. Otherwise you could get to the UK to find they have discovered their error and cancelled the lot!

Interesting weather in BNE since last night. Woke up 5:45am this morning with strong winds and rain. Doesn't appear to have affected the airport. Yet.

I was happy to see a "For Rent" sign on the house next door.

I'm delighted to advise that new neighbours moved in this past weekend. A couple, and a pup. Little Miss 11 is delighted to have an adorable pup next door. We are delighted that the pup likes the air conditioning inside the house, as do his parents.

Now, I wonder if we have become the noisy neighbours??!!

The new tenants already knew by their second day that it had been "the party house".

Just looked at my rain gauge ...85mm in the last 24 hours

It has been bucketing down here in the last 36 hours too. I drove home from the Sunshine Plaza ( Maroochydore) at 11am today and it was exceptionally heavy rain - so much so I was only doing 40kph and the wipers going full pelt

Barnaby is gone... well moved to the back bench but I wonder what the new dirt on him is.

Brissy is to get 1mth rain over the weekend.

If you think Donald Trump is ridiculous, check out Justin Trudeau in India: Justin Trudeau criticised on India visit if paywalled, try this Google search.:

Justin Trudeau’s ill-fated trip to India has stumbled from bad to worse. The Canadian Prime Minister has been accused of fraternising with terrorists after his wife was photographed with a man convicted of shooting an Indian minister.

Mr Trudeau has been snubbed by Narendra Modi, India’s Prime Minister, who almost a week after the Canadian’s arrival has still yet to meet his counterpart.

Mr Trudeau has also been mocked for the extravagant wardrobe of traditional Indian clothes that he and his family have brought with them.[/

What the hell is he talking about, "fighting for the people in the weatherboard and iron".

He lives rent free on a parliament salary, diddling the staff.

That may well be true, but he's hardly an orphan in that regard. Especially about saying to campaign for the workers while living well. Most of the 'workers friends' in the Labor Party parliamentary team I venture you might find are in pretty swish digs, organised tax-effectively. A great many even live in their own electorates!
