Received this message after checking In for qf118 tonight

"We still need some more details please see a customer service agent at the airport"

Have we been op-upped OR randomly selected for additional screening...

Happy Christmas / Festivus

OP has probably done the flight by now, but its most likely they need to have their passport do the swipe, or what I used to call the dip into the reader that checking staff have to do, in regards to Aust passports.
QF118 is HKG - SYD.

APIS details were entered, we are in exit row though.

Keeping fingers crossed :)

OT, but on my linked flight ADL - PER - SIN in 2012, with an Australian passport, I had entered APIS, and had done OLCI.
The system didn't ask me to go to a counter, so being in ADL, I went straight to the domestic gate my QF flight was departing from, and the thing kept beeping and not letting me through.
I was coming to the end of the line, oh P** I thought.
Turns out they needed me to do the passport swipe at the nearest counter with the slide, after they slid my passport through, it was ok after that.
Now if I travel to NZ, and its a linked PNR, I make sure to go to the checkin counter in ADL, or if first flight out from MEL/SYD in morning, I go to the counter.
But seeing that not many EK flights now doing Au - NZ, might have to go with (Air)NZ.
