t seems JQ was one of the last in line. The airport is closed from 0700 Bali time. It would be a bit hard for any airline to not cancel a flight![]()
Yes. We made it by just 2 weeks although we did have a quake while there.t seems JQ was one of the last in line.
Thinking now of those people who were coming home and those looking forward to a holiday, all now in tatters through via a natural cause. Was there myself a month ago.
The problem is, if your flying to Bali on JQ you do not know if its on or off and many apply for holidays from work, its not fair that the flying public have to wait day by day or week by week to find out if they are going, yet there can be no guarantee of a return.
It should be mandatory that anyone going within a minimum of 2 weeks of an eruption occurring in Bali or elsewhere, should be able to cancel and receive a credit rather than move the date forward.

The airlines are already doing this, Jetstar and Virgin from at least 6 weeks ago already.
