200 QF Points For Survey

i did the survey. however i cant imagine (after doing an online quote) why I would ever take out a policy. the premium is over $200.00 per month "dearer" than a significant number of other (advised) options. trust me here, Qantas are making an absolute killing on this, and the QFF points for the premium are a joke.

Yes, I agree. I looked at the Assure offer a few months ago when considering a change of health cover. But the premiums were astronomical. For myself, about 40% more per month for similar coverage.

I didn't even look at the premiums, I just filled in the survey for the points.

Not interested in their product at all.

My brother and I were offered 200 points for a survey on credit cards.

I always enjoy doing these as I already hold a policy and the T&C didn't state I couldn't fill it out! Doubt they'll ring as soon as they run my number! :p

Agree it's very expensive - but when you factor in the bonus points it can be worthwhile. I switched to Qantas Assure health insurance policy last year and collected just short of 75,000 QFF points (through bonus points, points on my premiums and the step counter stuff). I then cancelled as soon as the bonus points hit my account. I reckon it cost me about $350 more than I would otherwise have spent on health insurance over that period, but 75,000 QFF points is worth a lot more than $350 if used wisely.

In fact, I'm strongly considering switching to them again for a few months to reap more bonus points as. I can't find anything in the T&Cs to say I wouldn't be eligible - anyone know otherwise?

Did anyone actually receive the 200 points? I did the survey on 2 June and it is now over 8 weeks and nothing has posted.

My brother and I have received the 200 QFF points for the credit card survey I mentioned up thread.

And 5 months to the day I completed the survey the 200 points have finally posted. This has got to be the longest I've ever waited on points to post.

I was invited to do the survey by email. I did it over the weekend and this morning a rep called me to pitch the policy and assured me the points would post by tomorrow. I politely told him I didn't need life insurance and he didn't push me.

Got the follow up call from the life insurance survey. The guy opened the conversation confirming I'd get the points and seemed quite unsurprised when I said I wasn't interested in more life insurance very quickly after.
Points posted today.

I also received 200 QFF points last week. Has it been that long? I thought it may have been a recent survey. I don't bother keeping track.
